MOUNT RAINIER

Mount Rainier, standing at 14,411 feet (4,392 meters) above sea level, is the highest peak in the state of Washington, USA. It is an active stratovolcano and is considered one of the most prominent mountains in the contiguous United States. Located in Mount Rainier National Park, it is an iconic landmark of the Pacific Northwest.

The mountain offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, climbing, and skiing, attracting adventurers and nature enthusiasts from around the world. Mount Rainier is renowned for its glaciers, which cover more than 35 square miles (91 square kilometers) of its slopes, making it the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S. "We'll be leading a three-day climb on Mount Rainier via the renowned Muir/DC route, which is the most popular ascent on the mountain.

Guide to climber ratio: 3 climber to 1 Guide (total of 9 climbers and 3 guide)

Experience: this climb will not require any mountaineering experience, anyone who is physically fit and has some prior experience with backpacking or hiking can join this climb. It's even better if you've done some specific training for this kind of activity and have climbed Mount Baker or Mount Adams before. Must have the ability to carry 40 to 45 lb backpack.
