ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP GOREPANI

We offer an incredible trek to the Annapurna Base Camp via Poon Hill, where you can immerse yourself in breathtaking experiences. Witness the awe-inspiring sunrise over the majestic Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges from the vantage point of Poon Hill. Traverse through lush green forests adorned with Rhododendron, Oak, and Pine trees, as well as rocky terrains and glacial rivers. Along the way, you'll encounter scattered villages, each with its own unique culture and traditions.

As an ABC trekker, you'll have the opportunity to spend an overnight stay at both the Base Camp of Annapurna and Macchapucchre Base Camp (MBC). These locations provide awe-inspiring views of snow-capped mountains and magnificent waterfalls that cascade down the walls, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The shrine in this region is renowned and holds great significance, which is why animals are not permitted entry.

Prepare to be mesmerized as massive mountains suddenly emerge before you, including Hiunchuli, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Annapurna South peaks. The ideal time to embark on this trek is during spring when the Rhododendron forests are in full bloom, showcasing vibrant pink flowers that contrast beautifully with the rocky landscape.

At the Annapurna Base Camp, you will be treated to breathtaking close-up views of the imposing south face of Annapurna One, the 10th highest mountain in the world, towering at 8,091 meters. Alongside, you'll also behold other colossal peaks like Tharpu Chuli (5,663m), Singu Chuli (6,501m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), and Annapurna South (7,219m).
