EVEREST EXPEDITION NORTHSIDE
Mount Everest the highest mountain on Earth is known in Tibetan as Chomolungma, meaning Goddess Mother of Mountains, and in Nepali as Sagarmatha. It is one of the most sought-after climbs in the world. The mountain is believed to be the sacred home of Jomo Miyolangsangma, the Goddess of Inexhaustible Giving, adding spiritual significance to this extraordinary journey.
Khangri Experience is dedicated to providing personalized, one-on-one guided service to the summit of Everest, led by a highly experienced Sherpa team with your safety, success, and overall experience as our top priorities. To achieve this, we keep our expedition teams intentionally small while delivering high-quality logistics and support.
Beyond reaching the summit, we aim to create an enjoyable expedition where lasting friendships are formed and climbers gain insight into the traditions and history of Sherpa mountaineering, following the legacy of Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary. Our entire team is carefully hand-selected by lead guide Lakpa Rita Sherpa to match the needs of each expedition. We ensure every member is fit, capable, and experienced so we can focus on safety, smart decision-making, and the shared goal of a successful summit and safe return to base camp.
Unlike many operators, we provide supplemental oxygen starting at Camp 2 during the summit rotation. Each climber receives a one-to-one Sherpa guide ratio, on summit day to assist with the ascent and provide maximum oxygen flow above Camp 4. Your expedition also includes a helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Kyarong, included in the program cost, with a minimum of five climbers per flight.
Our program emphasizes gradual acclimatization in small increments to make the experience safer and more enjoyable. Climbers spend several days at base camp training on ladders, becoming familiar with equipment, and building strong team connections before moving higher on the mountain.
We also offer an optional North Col climb for an additional $1,500.
