    Deposit: A deposit of US$1,000.00 is payable to secure a place on the expedition.

    Each deposit includes a: US$500.00 non refundable registration fee.

    Balance: The remaining balance is due 121 days before departing date.

    Remaining balance that are not received with the 121 day deadline, risk forfeiture of their place and registration fee on the expedition.

  • Everest Base Camp Refund Policy:

    • Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable.

    • Full refunds, not including the registration fee of $500, will be provided for cancellations made 121 days before the expedition date.

    • 50% refunds, less the non refundable registration fee, will be provided for cancellations made 91-120 days prior to the expedition start date.

    • Our refund policy also protects other trekkers that have dedicated their time and capital to the trek.

    • THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS MADE LESS THAN 90 DAYS FROM THE START DATE.

    Trip Cancellation / Evacuation Insurance:

    We highly advise our clients to take out trip cancellation insurance This helps you against any cancellation due to personal or medical reason.

    • Airport pick up and drop off during arrival and departure

    • Hotel in Kathmandu two night before and one night after the trip stay with pairing. Additional charges for single room or if we are unable to find a pair

    • two dinners and at Kathmandu (welcome dinner and farewell dinner) lunch for the day of city tour

    • All group camp supplies, such as tents, stoves, etc.

    • All meals during the trek

    • All lodging during the trek

    • Porters, Guides, Climbing Permits and Park entrance fees

    • Wire transfer fee

    • Nepal vissa

    • International round-trip air fare

    • Excess baggage charges and airport taxes

    • Meals in Kathmandu

    • Alcoholic beverages and bottled drinks

    • Personal gear (see gear list)

    • Personal items

    • Helicopter departure. Due to weather conditions, trekkers may experience delays either while returning from Lukla to Kathmandu or traveling from Kathmandu to Lukla. In such situations, the team may need to arrange a helicopter transfer. The estimated helicopter cost is approximately USD 450–500 per trekker.

    • Tips for sherpas, porters,hotel and Tea house $350.00 -$ 400.00 depending on group size

    • Tips for the lead guide up to you

    • Trip cancelation insurance or the required medical evacuation insurance

    • All expenses incurred in the event of early departure (evacuation fees, transport, extra hotel nights, etc.)

    • Charges incurred as a result of delays beyond the control of Khangri Experience, LLC
